1980.08: Establishment of Imazu Seiki (100% holding) as an independent instruments production company
1981.04: Awarded Kyoto Prefectural Invention Merit Award for DEXTROMETER.
1982.03: Awarded prizes for blood glucose monitor and others in Kyoto exhibition of creativeness in workplaces.
1983.06: New company building completed in Nishiaketa-cho, Higashi-Kujo, Minami-ku, Kyoto.
1984.08: Establishment of Kusatsu Factory in Komaizawa, Kusatsu
1984.12: Concludes a technical licencing agreement with Beijing Chemical Works.
1986.05: Organizes workshop under the theme of "Modern Medicine and Clinical Laboratory Test" in China-Japan Friendship Hospital (China).
